GUIDE / METHODOLOGY
From a pair
to an alert.
Cross Trade monitors the market: where spreads appear, how they change and when they reach your chosen target.
Start with one pair
- Sign in to the scanner with your Telegram account.
- Open @crosst_bot, tap Start and enable notifications. The website and bot share one profile.
- Choose exchanges, strategies and search thresholds in your profile. The current product supports futures / futures pairs.
- Click the star beside a pair in the list. Set a convergence target and save the watch.
- When the verified spread reaches your target, the bot sends a notification. Change the target or remove the watch from the list.
You decide when to open and close trades on exchanges. Cross Trade does not request your trading API keys.
Every pair has a direction
LONG is the buy exchange; SHORT is the sell exchange. The reverse direction is a different pair, with different order books, funding and conditions.
Entry spread
Convergence spread
Prices account for order book depth at the pair's size: they are averages across available levels. Entry and convergence spreads can therefore differ even at the same moment.
When you create a watch, the system saves the baseline entry spread from the pair's verified calculation. Alerts use the current exit spread. This is a market reference point, not a record of your trade.
Choosing a convergence target
Set an absolute target — for example, “notify at spread ≤ 0.30%” — or a remaining share of the baseline spread.
For a 3% baseline spread, the targets are:
| Remaining share | Alert target |
|---|---|
| 0% | ≤ 0% |
| 15% | ≤ 0.45% |
| 25% | ≤ 0.75% |
| 50% | ≤ 1.50% |
| 75% | ≤ 2.25% |
For a 0.53% baseline, a 15% remainder is 0.0795%. The compact card shows ≈ 0.08%; verification uses the exact saved value.
“15% remaining” means 85% convergence from the baseline. For a zero or negative baseline spread, use an absolute target.
A notification means market data met your condition. It does not confirm position closure or profit. The condition is rechecked before delivery if the market changes.
Try the teaching example →Separate price and funding
The rate difference alone is not income: position direction, notional, payment timing and frequency on each exchange matter.
- Spread convergence. Estimates a change in the price spread to the selected target.
- Funding over period. Models payments within the selected horizon using both legs' schedules.
- Next funding. Includes the next event. Payments at the same time are combined; a later leg is not included in that event.
Scenario estimates include four taker fees for opening and closing both legs and the specified execution buffer. The result percentage uses the combined notional of both legs, not your deposit.
Rates and schedules can change. A positive scenario result does not guarantee an actual trade result.
Data has a status too
A Radar candidate and a confirmed opportunity are different stages. Before confirmation, instrument compatibility, freshness of both books, available depth, fees and profile conditions are checked.
If a book becomes stale, one exchange lags or depth is insufficient, the pair loses confirmation. The watch shows a reason, and target checks pause until usable data returns.
Daily turnover measures trading activity. Available book volume shows the size that can be estimated using current orders. These quantities do not replace each other.
The chart contains collected history. Gaps mean no usable observations; they are not filled with invented prices.
One account for the website and bot
Telegram verifies sign-in. Accounts are linked by permanent Telegram ID; usernames are displayed and may change. If you already use the bot, sign in with the same Telegram account to access its settings and watches on the website.
What data is used
The service stores your Telegram ID and username, profile settings, pair watches, alert targets and delivery history. Actual entries and exits from your trades are not tracked.
The browser uses secure functional cookies for sign-in and sessions. This interface has no advertising trackers. A website session lasts up to seven days; end it using Sign out in the account menu.
Managing notifications
Enable or disable delivery in your profile or the bot. For an individual pair, remove the star or change the target. Watches and settings are accessible only after signing into your account.
If Telegram messages do not arrive, check that you started the bot with /start, have not blocked it and have enabled notifications. Delivery status is visible in the watch interface.
